The Wyoming Area Class of 1989 was a close-knit group of individuals with a strong sense of Warrior Pride. They understood what it meant to be a Warrior and the honor involved with being part of such a great community. While maybe they didn’t always agree on everything, they always worked together, respected each other, and stood up for each other as Warriors should. The committee involved with creating this scholarship back in 2015 on the event of their 25th class reunion were Warriors who went out of their way to be kind to everyone and they created a sense of community and a positive attitude within our school. They were connected to each other and encouraged a sense of belonging amongst their classmates. The committee chose to honor and award a graduating Warrior whom they felt met the same standards they lived up to and they wish to continue to do so with the Warrior Pride Class of 1989 Scholarship. The intent of this scholarship is to further promote Warrior Pride in honor of the Wyoming Area Class of 1989.
